TCM Herb Phellinus Linteus
Phellonus Linteus, Chinse name Sang Huang, a traditional chinese herb, and commonly used in TCM, and considered as Treasure from the Nature. Phellinus linteus is a type of medicinal mushroom that grows on mulberry trees. Polypores for families and fungi fire wood layer of Phellinus igniarius (l. ex Fr.) Quel. [Fomes igniarius (l.) Fr.; Boletus igniarius l.; Polyporus igniarius Fr.] of fruiting body. Phellonus Linteus is mostly distributed in North China, Northwest and Heilongjiang, Jilin, Taiwan, Guangdong, Sichuan, Yunnan, Tibet and other places. From TCM, Phellonus Linteus has the function of promoting blood circulation, stopping bleeding, and preventing diarrhea. In Chinese TCM herb is often used for blood avalanche, blood shower, rectoanal discharge, immaculate accumulation, imbibing, and spleen deficiency.

Active ingredients in Phellius Linteus
Phellous Linteus from fruit body, contains about 4% of agaricus acid (mycelium has no such ingredient ), fatty acids, amino acids (mainly for glycine, aspartic acid), oxalic acid, triterpenoid acid, aromatic acid, ergosterol, and xylose oxidase, catalase, urease, esterase, sucrase and maltase, lactase, cellulase and a variety of enzymes.
